Information for all guests: Almancil Hostel reserves the right to refuse entry (at any time during the stay) to all persons who do not fulfill all the terms and conditions below.
These terms and conditions may change at any time and without prior notice. Whenever you book one of our beds, you MUST READ, UNDERSTAND and ACCEPT all the points in this document.
1- PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION - Do not forget to bring and present your valid personal identification (expired documents will not be accepted). We accept: Driver's License, Passport or Citizen's Card. ALL guests, without exception, must present their individual identification. If you do not submit the documentation accordingly we will not check - in. If you have made a prepayment or deposit to guarantee the reservation, and you fail to present the identification, not only will not have the proper check-in, nor will there be any place for any refund or indemnification by the hostel.
2- ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES - The Hostel will be open to guests 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, but the RECEPTION has the following opening hours:
Winter time (from September 16 to June 14), from Monday to Saturday open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Closed on Sundays.
Check-in time from 14h30 to 18h and Check-out until 11h00.
Summer time (from June 15 to September 15) from Monday to Saturday, open from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Check-in from 14h30 to 21h and Check-out until 11h00
If you wish you can check-in or check-out outside these periods. However, you will have to give us enough notice in advance to ensure that a STAFF member is ready and available to assist in what is needed
LATE CHECK-IN has an extra charge of € 10. It is considered a LATE CHECK-IN all check-in made after 10:00 pm.
LATE CHECK-OUT can exist free of charge to us, as long as it is possible to effectively manage the day's reservations. You will have to notify us in advance and we will let you know if it is possible or not. IF you are late on your CHECK - OUT we will charge you an extra € 10 for your delay. If after 11:00 am the guest has not returned the key and removed ALL of their personal belongings from the room, it is considered a delay and we will charge the extra value.
3- PAYMENTS - At the moment we are only accepting payments in cash (Euros), Debit Cards, Bank Transfers and Redunicre @ Payments for Visa and MasterCard cards, the latter option only applies to foreign citizens.
IF YOU WANT TO PAY BY BANK TRANSFER YOU SHOULD DO IT WITH A DEPOSIT IN ADVANCE. We will only accept Check In when confirming that the transferred amount is ALREADY available in our bank account. The totality, or remaining value (WHEN APPLICABLE), of the reservation amount will have to be PAYMENT IN CHECK-IN without any type of exception. FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: We only accept payments in cash or debit cards.
Discounts, Promotions or Offers of Last Minute: to enjoy these prices and special conditions will ALWAYS PAY EARLY. We will NOT make any refunds in these cases. Make sure that this is a good deal for you and that you can present yourself for check-in (on due dates) before you book and pay.
4- CANCELLATION POLICY - On our part we will always try to be flexible with all the situations that may arise. However, if it is not possible - due to other reservations and commitments already made - the terms and conditions described in this point (4) will be applied.
If you cancel your reservation, LESS than 30 days in advance, we will retain 50% of the amount already paid.
If you cancel more than 30 days in advance, we will refund the entire amount already paid.
5- DELIVERY AND USE OF TOWELS - You will be given the chance to receive towels free of charge depending on the type of accommodation chosen. In some cases you may have to rent them. In all deliveries of towels, by the hostel to the customer, the customer will have to leave a guarantee of use of them. If a rented towel (or free of charge) is not returned in good condition, as delivered, the guest will lose the right to a full refund of the security previously paid.
6- VIA EMAIL OR BALCONY RESERVATIONS - To guarantee your reservation, we will have to confirm that WE RECEIVE at least 30% of the total amount of your reservation. You should send us the proof of payment (CASE IF APPLY), duly identified, by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). CANCELLATIONS? Read point 4 please
7- OTHER ONLINE RESERVATIONS (SPECIALIZED SITES BOOKING.COM) - READ ALL the Terms and Conditions described and applicable, in each case. Please note: each specialized website may display different Booking conditions.
8- AGE RESTRICTIONS - If the person who presents for Check-in is not older than 18 years, we can not accept the Check-In, unless accompanied by an adult who is responsible for 100% by the young person (s). IN THIS CASE THE ADULT WILL HAVE TO SIGN EXTRA DOCUMENTATION.
If you are traveling with a family and wish to bring children or young people, you MUST BOOK a dormitory for the group and make sure that all family members follow all the rules for using the Hostel, respecting all other guests and staff.
We are not able, nor are we prepared to receive children under the age of 8 and / or persons with reduced mobility.
Guests under the age of 16 can not stay in a shared room with other guests of the hostel unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
We do not have a maximum age limit for the acceptance of guests, but we consider that our accommodation services - at the Almancil Hostel - are mainly aimed at adults between 18 and 35 years of age, however any guest that complies with rules, terms and conditions will be welcome.
9 - ALLOCATION OF ROOMS / BEDS - The beds and rooms will always be allocated in the best way, depending on the type of reservation and the free beds at any given time. We DO NOT guarantee that we will be able to put all the people in the same group in the same room, but we will do our best to make it happen. IF THE GROUP wishes to stay in the same room then it must inform that intention when booking in order to increase the chances of that happening. Contact us via email for more details.
10- ACCESS TO ALMANCIL HOSTEL - ENTRANCE PORT - Upon check-in all guests (adults) will receive a PIN code to enter the Hostel. More details will be provided on your Check-In.
11- INTERNAL RULES, BEHAVIOR AND HYGIENE - For security reasons, you can NOT bring visitors to your private room, without authorization.
You will not be able to bring visitors to your room at all if you are in a shared room. By permission of the reception / administration, and in an exceptional way may be people (who are not guests) in the common areas of the Hostel.
ANY GUESTS who do not comply with the Hostel's Terms and Conditions and / or do not comply with the express orders of the Staff regarding - inter alia - the safety and general welfare of all hostels SHALL BE EXPULSED by the Police and will not entitled to any reimbursement or reimbursement.
It is further informed that, in the hostel, there are video surveillance equipment in order to guarantee the safety and integrity of all.
The STAFF of the Hostel expects that every guest has respect for all the people, local residents and for the material assets that the hostel makes available to all.
12- SEX - No sexual practices are allowed in shared rooms or in any other common area of the hostel! Only adults (we will confirm the ages) and in a private suite may have sex. Sex in any of the shared rooms is NOT permitted under any circumstances. All other guests in the same room deserve rest and respect, so they will not have to be confronted with such intimate acts by third parties.
If these rules are not followed, guests will be expelled (at any time of the day or night) without the right to any refund or indeminisation.
13 - NO - SMOKING - We are a Hostel for NO SMOKING. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the Hostel, except on the common outdoor terrace (at the entrance of the hostel).
14- SPECIAL OFFERS AND SPECIAL PROMOTIONS LAST MINUTE - Throughout the year there may be special offers and prices. The best way to keep up with news is by visiting our Social Networks and our website (www.almancil-hostel.com).
These offers have lower prices and are of limited duration. In order to guarantee your RESERVATION you will have to make the payment of 100% of the value of the reservation via Bank Transfer. ONLY, and only when we receive your transfer in our account will we guarantee your accommodation.
After confirming your payment, and if you cancel the reservation and / or do not appear for check-in on the dates indicated, we RESERVE the right to retain 50% of the value in the meantime received, and the client will not be entitled to any other compensation, Indeminisation.
The fact that we are always holding 50% is due to the fact that the housing market sometimes receives "ghost reserves". In very exceptional cases, to be decided by management, we may return 100% of the amount, however received, if it is CLEARLY justified.
15- LOTATION OF THE HOSTEL - The hostel reserves the right to deny any reservations if it has reached its stocking.
16- PERSONAL DATA - All your personal information is confidential and for internal use only. Regarding your EMAIL, upon check-in you will be able to indicate whether or not you allow your email to be added to our mailing list.
17- DAMAGE AND DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY OF THE HOSTEL - Do not steal or damage anything during your stay. If you do, we will call the Police to take care of the occurrence and we will present the appropriate complaints.
If you damage something you should volunteer to restore / pay for your damage, thus avoiding the police call.
Report to STAFF any and all situations of theft, destruction and vandalism inside the hostel.
From our part (hostel) we will guarantee total secrecy about your identity.
18 - PERSONAL VALUES AND OBJECTS - All your values and personal objects (WITHOUT ANY EXCEPTION) must always be in your custody. Although the Hostel provides an enclosed space (key) to place all your belongings, this ASSUMES NO responsibility for them under any circumstances. The GUESTS are 100% responsible, in any and all circumstances. There will be no refund or indemnification if any good or value is lost during the stay.
19- PETS - We love animals, but for safety and hygiene reasons, no animals of any kind are allowed inside the hostel. No exceptions.
20- BREAKFAST - LUNCH - At the moment we do not serve any breakfast. However the reception will be happy to give you other viable options.
21- USE OF COMMON AREAS - Common areas such as the kitchen (where you can cook) and sanitary facilities, among others, are for the usufruct of all guests. WE RECOMMEND to leave everything CLEAN after use.
22- SIGNALS AND INFOS - Be sure to follow all obligations, instructions and recommendations during your stay.
23- CLEANING AND HYGIENE - If you urinate or vomit in your bed, you MUST PAY A CLEANING FEE OF € 50. If you vomit in another place, and clean it immediately, you will not have any associated costs, but you must notify the reception of what happened.
24- EMBRIAGUEZ APARENTE STATE - In case the guest is in a visible state of inebriation and does not comply with all the internal rules, as well as the Terms and Conditions of the stay, we will call the Police, without recourse to a second notice to improve their behavior.
